Inwardly, Saras longed to be comfortable enough in the water that he could play like the others. No, that wasn’t quite right. He disliked the water and didn’t want it anywhere near him, but he did want to be able to socialize and be as fun as Marz and Rowan. He knew that his reluctance to join into the water games was keeping him apart from the group a little bit, but he wasn’t trying to be difficult… He held back because of the fear. It was not easy for a creature of fire to be immersed within something that could easily take his life, even if in a human body, it wasn’t all that logical, or likely. It was simply an unreasonable fear about what could happen. Part of him wanted to learn to swim, and maybe once the group had tired themselves out, he would ask Jermey or Marz if they would help him, and be close while he forced himself to tolerate the water, and maybe even learn to swim a little bit.
The pretty genie, although in the company of Jeremy and his friends, missed Ravin. At first, he hadn’t been sure if he would be able to be apart from him, but it seemed as if Ravin were at least fairly close, he wouldn’t have a problem, except that he felt guilty for being so far away, in case his master had a wish that he could grant. All in all, the little adventure to find the peacock throne had been interesting, if not very educational. He hadn’t been affected by the chapel because of his sexlessness, and although Jeremy had gone into detail about humans, and what had been happening on the wall, he was unable to fully comprehend the extent of what had happened. He had of course noticed the tension and the looks between Marz and Tristan, and he was aware of their feelings, but he simply didn’t understand it. He dwelt on those thoughts while gathering up some food to eat while the others headed towards the water. He settled himself down by the fire to watch, feeling infinitely more comfortable close to the root of his creation, rather then to the antithesis. He also decided he was going to keep an eye on Rowan in case the elf tried to throw him in again.
ooc: Sorry. Saras is being pouty and uncooperative lately. He's sulking because I'm making him write essays and study.
