Ravin smiled at Isobel's suggestion of giving him a nice massage in the warm water of the underground spring. His smile widened when she grabbed his hand and led him from the tower kitchen. Remembering a supply room he saw earlier, Ravin suggested they stop inside to procure towels and some robes that were folded in a large trunk. Once they had the items in hand they followed the others to the spider man temple.

Although Ravin was quite hungry the water was a lot more inviting than a meal right now. The thief left a pile of towels and robes at the edge of the hot springs before stripping down to his underwear. Carefully, he walked across the smooth rocks and was soon submerged in the warm water up to his waist. Automatically, his arms slid around Isobel when she joined him, and they shared a tender kiss.

"I am very glad the puppets and golems did not seriously injure you, Ravin," she whispered. "I am growing quite fond of you, I think."

The thief gazed into her beautiful brown eyes as he pulled her closer. "I've grown very fond of you as well." The admission surprised him because he didn't think he'd ever be able to develop feelings for anyone again so soon after Kyri. He kissed her deeply, his hands eagerly exploring the length of her spine and soft buttocks.

A rumbling in his stomach made him end the kiss with a laugh. "Investigating temples and battling puppets certainly seems to have worked up my appetite. Why don’t we go back on shore and eat? Maybe I can convince you to help me work on my letters afterwards so one of these days I can write you those love letters you're still waiting for." He gave her a wink then held out his hand and led them to where the Jann had already started a cookfire.

"I brought bottles of brandy and wine as well as Kazabet's magic bag with all the food supplies," Jeremy called out. "Help yourself."

Ravin filled a mug with java for Isobel since she didn't seem to care for liquor. He handed it to her as they took seats before the fire then helped himself to a brandy. The thief grinned at Saras, having no idea that the genie might feel upset about his lack of attention to him. Ravin could never think of himself as someone's master and therefore was only naturally giving the genie free reign to do what he wanted now that he was out of his flask.

"That's great news," he whispered to Isobel when Erlic informed everyone of his latest conversation with Dalo. "I really hope they find Eremis. He's a kind and very sensitive boy who probably wouldn't last too long in Tegol's clutches. I hope you get to meet him someday Isobel. I know you'd like him. You'd probably want to adopt him as a little brother because he kind of has this way of making others want to take care of him since he can't seem to take care of himself."
