Marz reacted with surprised when Tristan threw his arms around his neck before crushing their lips together. He was really starting to enjoy his lover's public displays of affection. Not having to hide their feelings from the others felt great. There was always a bit of a wild thrill involved with engaging in intimate acts before a crowd that pretended not to notice. Knowing that their little display was probably arousing Jeremy and maybe even Rowan made the moment even more erotic.

The wine Marz consumed left him feeling somewhat giddy, and Tristan's closeness intensified his good mood. He nodded in agreement when the dragon made a comment about Eremis having awful things happen to him. Since Marz knew how Tegol's men treated weak prisoners, he was pretty positive that they wasted no time raping the innocent healer. Of course, he wasn't about to mention that to Tristan because it would only upset him again. No doubt, a lot of unpleasant memories would haunt Eremis long after he was rescued. The need to keep those painful memories buried might make it harder for the healer to give up drugs since Marz assumed that they were great for alleviating mental anguish.

"Yeah, at least we know he's alive," he muttered, echoing Tristan's words. After drying off, he dressed and strapped on his weapons before following his lover to the campfire. He snatched up a plate of chicken and beef then filled a mug with java. His eyes widened slightly when Tristan called out to Tia and asked her to dance like she had done in the tent earlier. And where the rake was I when this dancing in the tent took place?

The perky thief laughed then jumped to her feet. "No need for me to change into that Jann outfit since my underwear is just as skimpy," she quipped while discarding her blouse and pants. At least she was now ready to dive into the water later. Tia crept up alongside of Saras and tried to mimic the genie's movements.

Marz got so caught up in the erotic dance he stopped chewing the food in his mouth. When Jeremy elbowed him, he flinched then turned to give the youth a heated glare. "For you and Tristan," Jeremy said, handing him two of his special cigarettes. After passing one to his lover, Marz scarfed down more food while watching the very pleasant entertainment.

When Jeremy got up to join Saras and Tia in the dance, Marz chuckled. But a moment later he was staring intently at the otherworldly youth. Jeremy's body moved before Saras in a rather provocative manner. He grabbed the genie's waist and grinded their hips together before backing away again, his body swaying seductively. The kid certainly was limber, and quite alluring when he put his mind to it. Marz glanced at Rowan. Maybe the elf wasn't all the stupid after all for taking the boy to his bed!

The ex-gang leader decided not to focus too much on the erotic dancing that played out before him. Already he was aroused and needed to calm down if he wanted to be able to concentrate on the chakras later. Tristan probably wouldn't appreciate another round of wild lovemaking so soon after what happened in the alcove anyway.

Once his hunger was sated, Marz lit the cigarette Jeremy gave him, thinking it contained regular tobacco. As he took a deep drag his eyes fell upon Ravin and Isobel. Perhaps the thief would know the value of the round, clear gem he found outside the tower after he and Corum battled the hairy creatures. Marz dug through his pockets, pulling the item out while sucking down more smoke from the sweet smelling cigarette. "Hey Ravin," he called, displaying the smooth globe in his palm. "How much ya think this diamond is worth?"

The thief gave him a puzzled look then laughed. "That's no diamond, Marz. It's a crystal ball. A lot of the Rovers use those. Many claim they can see things in it that depict past, present, or future events."

"That sounds like the mirror in the temple," Tristan said. "Maybe we can see Eremis again."

Marz glanced at this lover, took another drag from the cigarette then lowered his eyes to the globe while thinking of the young healer. He flinched slightly when he saw smoke start to swirl inside the clear globe. When it cleared, an image of a badly beaten Eremis appeared. "He's dressed like a raking hustler!" Marz quipped before his attention was drawn to the other person he saw within the globe. His face scrunched up in concentration as he stared at the battered youth with the tiny horns protruding from his head. "I've seen that kid before, Tris. I think he runs the streets with the other urchins and isn't affiliated with any particular gang or crimelord."

Marz sucked more smoke into his lungs then faced Tristan. "Why the hell is Eremis dressed in those provocative clothes, and what's he doing with that demon boy?" Although he remembered hearing the youth's name bandied about, he couldn't recall what it was. Jeremy's cigarette was beginning to dull his senses, and suddenly he felt utterly relaxed, and more than a little loose. "I have a strange feeling that Eremis isn't with Tegol anymore. But, if he somehow managed to escape, why didn't he run back to the tavern where it's safe?"

The ex-gang leader narrowed his eyes and scratched his head. "Something must be preventing him from getting to the tavern." A stupid grin spread across his mouth as he stared into the crystal ball. "I dunno why he's dressed like that but I gotta admit that, even with his face all bashed in, he makes one fine looking whore!"
