When Erlic gave her a quick kiss and wiped a smudge of blood from her cheek, Jade chuckled throatily. Hmmm gonna have to get me some more of that... she thought to herself.

She'd seen Erlic in action a few times now and admired his great skill. She knew she'd been right. He seemed quite dangerous. And he seemed willing to keep her secrets as well. She rather liked that.

Now that the battle seemed to be over, she made her way around to some of the corpses, checking for anything interesting she might pick up. She carefully avoided the weaponry that looked malcolored. She had no desire to accidentally poison herself picking up a broken spear. One of the females had some sort of ring that looked like it might be interesting. When Jade tried to take it off, however, the thing sparked alarmingly. Jade hissed. "Damn traps," she muttered, wondering not for the first time why people bothered trapping things they were going to be wearing. Couldn't they accidentally set it off themselves at some point? Idiots.

She pulled a serpent-shaped stone from her pouch and held it against the ring, muttering a spell to disarm traps. The stone flared red, then gradually faded to its normal green coloring. She put the stone back in the pouch and slipped the ring from the spiderwoman's finger. She hoped it was worth having to waste a spell charge on.

She found nothing else of interest among the corpses and made her way back to where the others were. Ravin praised her for making short work of the archers. "My pleasure, I'm sure," she grinned, silently hoping Ravin wouldn't blurt the particular method she'd employed to get the job done.

Ravin then began to talk about the need to collapse the entrance that the were-spiders were apparently using to come and go, but suddenly rushed off to see how Isobel was doing.

Jade turned to Erlic. "Well, darling... shall we search the houses, collapse the tunnel, or take a nice long soak in the warm water?" She grinned, her eyes sparkling despite the dim light.
