Corum continued their wild, and crazy game of cat, and mouse in the water until finally Tia had enough. Corum was about to attack again, when Tia asked him not to. The youth simply smiled, and approached the pretty elf. She started to back up, and he promised he wouldn’t do anything. She kept an eye on him as he made good his promise, only to lift her up, and throw her over his shoulder.

“Corum, you put me down this instant!” Tia yelled trying to wiggle out of his grasp.

“Relax,” Corum stated as he finally got out of the pool, and headed over to where the Jann had a campfire going. Tia continued to batter his back with her tiny fists, and Corum simply shook his head. “Yo guys,” Corum stated as he attracted the attention of the Jann. “How about handing us a couple of plates of food?”

The Jann quickly did as such, and Corum grabbed one of the plates, and realized he couldn’t hold onto the other, while still holding on to Tia to prevent her from falling. “Got it!” he stated as he turned around to have Tia facing the Jann. “Give her the plate,” Corum stated. The Jann laughed at the two, and a plate was thrust into Tia’s hands. Now she was in a position since she couldn’t do anything unless she drop the plate, but the food looked so good, that she didn’t want to waste it.

Corum finally picked out one of the houses nearby, and walked in. He sauntered over to a table, and put his plate down, and then turned around to have Tia do the same. When she finally let go of the plate, Corum let her down, and the pretty elf gave him a glare.

“Oh relax, will ya?” Corum teased as he sat at the table. “Hey, all that running around made me hungry, and tired. Don’t forget we’ll have to be leaving soon, and we haven’t gotten any rest.” Tia thought that made sense as she looked around the building.

Corum got up, and started a fire. “Hey, check it out,” Corum mentioned. “There’s two beds here, one for you, and one for me. No problem. We eat, and then we sleep. Works for me.”

Corum sat back down, and suddenly remembered they had nothing to drink. “Be right back,” he stated as he rushed out. He went back to the springs, gathered their belongings, stopped by the Jann for a bottle if they had it, which they did, and returned promptly.

“Now we’re ready,” Corum stated, opening up the bottle, and taking a swig of it. “Help yourself.”

Eventually the two fell asleep on separate beds. The fun and laughter in the water, along with the events of the day were finally starting to catch up to them.
