Author: Ravin, Jeremy, Marz
Subject: Explaining and info
In reply to: Argus, Isobel, Jade, and Barry 's message, "What's going on???" on 12:32:05 02/23/02 Sat

Ravin jumped out of his seat when he heard the loud boom. Instantly, throwing knives were in his hands and ready to fly. Once things fell silent again and there seemed to be no threat forthcoming he sat down, placing his blades on the table before him. He glanced up at his companions that burst into the kitchen a moment later, armed and ready to attack if need be. After a while they too relaxed and took seats around the table.

A small smile crossed Ravin's mouth when Saras went to sit by Jeremy. Hopefully, the youth would be better company than he was at the moment. He couldn't shake the guilt that filled him over Tegol's latest attack on the tavern. After taking a drink from his whiskey flask, he shrugged when Marz asked where Erlic was. "I thought he was with you, since you both left the kitchen together before." His eyes shifted to the figure of the guildmaster who entered the room just then. Although he wondered why he was covered in blood, he kept silent, hoping that Erlic would explain without the need to be asked. He then turned to Isobel, who sat down beside him but before he could say anything,Marz began to relay the details of what happened in Bizmar.

*******

Jeremy was relieved to discover that Sharms weren't attacking the place. He didn't know what caused that loud boom but apparently it wasn't anything to worry about since things were quiet now. When Saras sat down beside him, and wrapped his arms around him, Jeremy returned his hug. He popped open another can of Pepsi and handed it to the genie then took a sip from his own can.

The otherworldly youth was happy that Saras hadn't found him earlier because he then he wouldn't have gotten to experience his first sexual encounter with the elf. Thinking about what they did together made him grin. "I was having a private talk with Rowan in one of the other rooms," he told the genie. "But I'm here now, and trying to figure out why everyone looks so depressed."

As if on cue, Marz told everyone about the events that occurred at the Medieval Tavern back in Bizmar. Once he made it known that a number of their friends were severely hurt or killed because of the crimelord, Tegol Denair, he turned to Erlic. He didn't seem at all fazed by the blood that covered the guildmaster. Apparently seeing him alive and walking around was good enough for Marz.

"Along with the Bloody Mug Tavern, and Fortune's Gambling Hall that you already know about, Tegol owns The House of Red Satin, a whorehouse on Vine Street, and Clevon's Butcher Shop on the west corner of Blade and Cutter streets. He also has a safe house to the east of Orm's Eatery on Rose Street and another one just north of Lena's Flower Shop on Bell Street. Those are the only places I know about. Eremis might be locked up in the cellar of one of them. Kanet and his gang like to hang out at the Dacer's Tavern near Beggar's Row. If Kanet's working for Tegol now, he might know about other properties the crimelord owns. That bastard Tegol would be a lot easier to get at IF he stayed in one raking place for a while!"

Marz took a sip of java then met the eyes of his sensai. "Maybe you can get that info to Dalo and have him get to work on destroying Tegol's business' one by one. Sooner or later the rat won't have any place left to hide, and then we'll find him and give him the slow, agonizing death that he deserves."
