Argus must have dozed off in his chair. He woke with a start as a loud booming noise reverberated through the tower. "Wha in de nine blewdy 'ells wuz dat!?" he exclaimed, clutching at the table to keep from falling out of his chair.

He looked around at the others, who seemed equally puzzled. He shook his head. "Dese damn rickety ruins will probably come crash'n down ed terp o' us all any time now!"

He suddenly became aware that there was something else wrong. What had he slept through? That Erlic fellow was covered in blood and... by the gods, the one man was lacing up his pants! He did not need to see that! He quickly turned away, only to spot Laurel coming into the room with the other girls. A silly grin lit his face.

"La'el! Yew look lovely, as usual." He barely noticed that the snotty woman was no longer dressed like a hussy and the naked one was now dressed.

Isobel entered the kitchen with the other women. She immediately noticed that something was wrong. Ravin looked very upset, and Erlic... he appeared to have fought a thousand Sharm by himself.

She approached Ravin and sat down next to him, taking his hand. "Seņor Ravin? What has happened?" She hoped his family had not come to harm, as in his earlier vision. A cold knot gripped her belly.

Jade sauntered in with the rest of them. She stopped immediately just inside the doorway and leaned against the wall, watching. It was obvious that something terrible had happened. She glanced at Erlic and shivered. He was covered in blood and wounds, but his face was almost impassive. A very dangerous man, indeed.

Her eyes swept the room, noting that several people seemed as clueless as she was about what the problem was, and she hoped someone would let the rest of them know what was up.

Barry floated near Corum quietly. He'd been outside when Marz and Erlic had gone on their killing sprees, and had floated high above the ruined city watching. He'd been careful, of course, to stay clear of Marz because it was obvious that if he got too near he'd be bone dust in no time. But he'd watched Erlic, and it wasn't pretty.

So he waited silently just sort of hanging around. Idly he noticed that that Isobel chit wasn't popping out of her clothes anymore and he felt vaguely disappointed. The new gal had gotten dressed... blast it! Well, of course she would. She wasn't going to walk around naked, but it was still slightly disappointing.

"So, Chief... it's gonna be okay, right?" He said quietly to Corum.
