When Saras was pulled into a second hug, he let his own melancholy thoughts slip away and smiled, although not as broadly as before and without quite the same amount of mirth and amusement in his eyes.

"Rowan and me were starting to become really close friends, but he's ignoring me lately for some reason,"

“I wont ignore you..” Saras was going to say, but Tia appeared with news that Marz was going to be Ok. The genie felt a certain amount of relief, as it did everyone who heard. Sarosh remembered that Jeremy had said that he loved Marz and he knew that Jeremy must be feeling quite relieved to know that the other boy would be ok. Jeremy passed one of cigarette sticks to Tia for Tristan, and Saras smiled, thinking it quite nice to do something like that. He himself had liked Marz too. He hadn’t spent much time with him, but he had liked him nonetheless. Marz had flattered him, and won him over, when he had been new and friendless.

Once Tia had gone, Jeremy turned back to him with more questions.

"So what do you want to do now? Wanna go take a swim in the pond before we get a few hours of sleep? You do sleep, right? Or did you do so much of that while in the flask that you don't have to worry about it now?"

“No.. I have to sleep, as if I were a human.” he said. “My body is built like a human’s mostly, so it needs to rest. Although I don’t go home when I sleep…” Saras explained. “I just sleep…” After a moment, the Genie tilted his head. “If you want to go swimming, I’ll go with you. But I don’t know how to swim… so I might just sit on the shore, if that’s ok…”
