When Rowan agreed to help him with Marz, Jeremy's eyes widened in excitement. Now that he had an ally, it should be easy to get the ex-gang leader alone for a while. Once they had some privacy, the otherworldly youth would have the opportunity to make Marz forget all about the crazy dragon. Of course, he wasn't too sure how he'd accomplish that task but he would try to figure out a plan while they traveled to the Sea of Salt.

Jeremy was positive that Marz was already attracted to him so it shouldn't be that hard to win him over completely. No doubt, the dark eyed youth was only biding him time with Tristan until something better came along anyway. And I know I'm definitely better that that stuck up dragon! Sure, he was still a virgin, but that didn't mean he was a prude. The opportunity to make love to someone he liked just never really presented itself before. There was that time when Rowan took him to a whorehouse, but Jeremy had run away then because he didn't know anyone there. Instead of getting turned on, he grew fearful at the prospect of jumping into bed with a total stranger. He had no such fears when it came to Marz. Whenever he looked at the ex-gang leader, his hormones went into overtime, driving him with the desire to become Marz's pupil in the art of lovemaking.

He finished off the rest of his Pepsi then leaned closer to whisper to Rowan. "Thanks. I knew you'd help me with this, dude. If there's any way that I can return the favor let me know."

Ravin frowned when Isobel informed him that Alakbar had read her thoughts. Obviously, there was more to the scrawny youth that met the eye! Although he didn't pick up any malicious intent coming from the prince that didn't really mean much. The thief never completely relied on his empathy or the crazy visions he was sometimes plagued with, because only the gods knew how accurate such things could be.

With his java mug in hand, he followed after Isobel, who sat on a rock near one of the fires eating bread and cheese. "After what you told me about Alakbar, I think it wise that we keep a close eye on him in case he tries something funny. Maybe you could keep the boy close to you while we travel since I'll be up in front with Rowan. The two of us will be quite occupied looking for traps and scanning the area so I won't be able to pay much attention to Alakbar."

Justin rushed up beside Ravin just then. "How's about you and me walking side by side together?" he asked, his eyes all over Isobel. "I'll protect ya from any varmint that might come our way."

Ravin shook his head when he saw the lewd smile appear on the merc's face. Deciding that Isobel could take care of herself when it came to Justin, he slipped away from the pair and hurried over to Rowan. He crouched down beside the elf and spoke lowly. "I think we should have Corum or Laurel watch over Tia while we're traveling, since you and I will have to keep a keen eye on the road ahead. They can stay behind along with the others while Erlic brings up the rear." Ravin took a sip from his java mug, and grinned at Barry, nestled in Tia's lap, while waiting to see if Rowan had anything to say.
