I personally would not one of my biological children running around either. I feel that I have a responsibility toward my biological children, and that if someone else was raising them I could not meet that responsibility. I would feel the same about sperm donation (if I had testicles that is) that I do about egg donation.

That said, although I wouldn't want my children to participate in either sperm donation or egg donation, it would be, of course, their choice. I understand that many people don't feel the way I do about their potential genetic children (thus the popularity of sperm donation) and I wouldn't say that they are wrong for not feeling the (perhaps irrational) feeling of unalterable responsibility toward these biological children. It's just the way I feel, so I wouldn't take part.
