Of course I only have one child and the sibling rivalry you describe are behaviors routinely displayed by my step-dad so what do I know?

But... for what it's worth... ds (now blissfully 6 3/4) did his share of 'how far can I push her before she jumps from a moving vehicle' moments. I've been known to just leave a full cart and walk out of the store. No toys, no treats, nothing... just home. Sure, it's a bummer. Throws your whole 'schedule' out but nothing sends a clearer message than mom just getting her purse, the baby and YOUR hand and marching you out of the store in silence. OOPS! BTW - I only had to do that 2x before I just had to give him 'the look'.

Is there a morning pre-school for 'big kids'...lol... you can let Harrison go to? Not a day-care that 'does' preschool (they're NOT the same) but a true, 9-12 t/th or m/w/f thing???? Even if it's just for a couple of months... he'd benefit from the social contact of other big kids in an envrinment where mommy isn't the final say so on behavior.

Meanwhile... hide.

LOF
