 Actually, one of the reasons that it is expensive for DSO to release live CDs is that they pay good money to Ice None Publishing, who owns the rights to the Grateful Dead catalog. DSO does not see huge profits from the release, it is just a way to spread the music around for those who want it, and yes, some do. I know it's the same $$ the Dead charges etc., but that's beacuse of the third party company that prints and ships the discs...they set the prices. IMO, if you don't like it, don't buy it. Leave the politics to making sure Bush doesn't get reelected:-)
