Not that it's news to you guys but I'm really frustrated with NBC. I can't even conceive of the last time they made a good decision with regard to their daytime lineup.

As far as I'm concerned Days "jumped the shark" a long time ago....if not when Marlena became possessed then further back when they brought Stefano back to life for the first time or when they introduced John as Roman. If they can't work out a deal then it's time to let the show die. If I were NBC I would just scrap the whole daytime lineup. I'd just as soon watch the previous night's Conan & Carson and rebroadcasts of various other NBC prime-time shows during daytime.

I think that fundamentally OLTL is a better show than Days but the ratings are sucking. Maybe if GH can resurge it'll help the other shows a bit more. That said, maybe ABC doesn't want to risk picking up Days, especially having to contend with the likes of Corday. CBS seems to want to save GL but time will tell the true tale.

How can the network that broadcasts the very best in TV (West Wing) also broadcast the lowest dreck (Pash and Days)???
