Subject: Checkin' in

How's everyone doing? I've got a speech tomorrow and I haven't gotten a chance to write it yet! Agghh! I'm terrified.

I also have a quiz tomorrow for Java. I can't believe I'm taking that class. When I first signed up for it, I was placed on the waiting list and I just wanted to have that space just in case I couldn't take anything else. The likelihood at that time of me taking that class was slim to zero because 1) it was a really hard teacher; 2) it was a really early morning class; and 3) the subject is really hard. But then I started going to class and although I was really intimidated, I realized I really needed to take that class, not because I didn't have enough units, but because I really needed a class from my concentration and that was the only class that I got into after trying to add into so many other classes from my concentration (major). Also, because I plan to go into the computer field after I graduate, it's very important to know Java because it's one of the main things you have to know to do anything. So I gritted my teeth and decided I'm staying, for better or for worse. It's the most rigorous class I've ever taken because he gives quizzes almost every week so you really can't lag behind and cram at teh last minute. That was the purpose of the quizzes I guess. He goes through a chapter a week! Crazy.

Well, that's my rant for today. Hang in there, Anna, try to keep your sanity. You've been through all that before. Whenever you start to get annoyed, just start singing your favorite song at the moment or go do some puzzles to get your mind off of it. It doesn't make the wrongs right, but concentrating on them won't do any good. Force yourself to smile even though you feeling like throwing rocks. You automatically feel better as a natural reflex. :-)

J-Skee, where are you? Haven't heard from you in a few days. Hope you're doing alright. Same goes for you, C-Skee!
