Hope you feeling better soon A-Skee! It's tough having to share a mother, especially when you're sick. Guess that's a bit like how Janie feels when your mom is always with you, but she's more "grown up" so to speak and should behave better. Tell your mom you miss her (unless you don't, lol) and ask that she spends a little more time with you. :-)

What wacky weather we're having here. Less than a week ago, we had thunderstorms and today we've had the best day that we never had for summer. What's up with that? Guess Indian summer has arrived. Thankfully the sun is setting soon so it'll get a little cooler.

It's so easy to forget the tragedy that occurred a few weeks ago. And that's scary. In a way I don't want to forget the seriousness of it all, but at the same time I do. Does that make sense? It's like I don't care if they catch that bin Laden anymore. Stop talking about him. I don't want to hear his name or see his picture anymore. I don't want to be reminded. I want to leave the horror of it all behind. But then that's rude, that's mean, that's selfish and thoughtless. I can't even imagine what the families who lost loved ones are going through and I don't want to imagine it. It's scary, ya know? So many lives lost, just like that. *shiver*

Okay, gotta go now. Hope your team keeps winning J!

Love,
Silver
