WOWIE!! Was that awesome or what?! Anna, sorry I couldn't find you. I arrived really late and missed all the opening acts. Long story short: I couldn't find Laurie at our designated meeting place. We were suppose to meet at the Powell Muni Station at 5:15 at the stairs but when I got there, I didn't see her. Then I realized there were TWO stairs down there so I kept walking back and forth, hoping she's at one of the stairs. 6pm came and went, still no Laurie. 7pm came and went, still no Laurie. I had called both home and her dad twice to see if she called to say where she was or if there was a change of plans. Nope. So the second call I made home and to her dad was to say that I was going to the Oakland Coliseum without her and to pass that message to her if she should call. Keep in mind I had no tickets with me but I just went anyways, thinking perhaps I could get a cheap one off a scalper.

So I got on BART and went. There was a girl who was walking around selling a ticket but I decided not to buy it from her. By the time I got there, it was 7:30 and the opening acts had already started. I decided to go to the will call window to buy myself a ticket. I mean, I was there and there was NO way I was going to miss this concert, even if I had to sit by myself. But guess who I met there? LAURIE! Boy, was I glad to see her. Thank you God for arranging it that way. I mean, that was such a coincidence. I thought that she would have gone in by now.

So we got in around 8pm but went to the souvenier stand to get the tour book and I needed a drink because I was SO thirsty and a tad hungry. Can you believe they don't sell Coke there? How RUDE. ;-) I ended up spilling 2/3 of my Pepsi once the concert started anyways.

Now about the concert: WOWIE! Laurie managed to score sixth row tickets so we were on the left side of the stage, kinda close. Hahahaha! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw them come out and they were RIGHT THERE. As in, RIGHT THERE. My goodness, they were RIGHT THERE. Ok, shut up, Mary. Anyways, it was surreal. I mean, I wasn't that close, but I was close enough to prefer watching them instead of the screen. How often can I say that? Laurie had her zoom camera with her and took almost 4 rolls of film so I hope to get copies of that. I bought a disposable camera (not the *NSYNC one) and snapped some pictures too, but I don't think they turned out well. I might develop them today if I can get my butt off this chair, hehehe. Anna, did you take pictures? I couldn't see section 8 from where I was, and certainly no wheelchair section. I bet you saw them clearly when they want to that side of the stage. How about JC in white, huh? WOWZERS. My jaws dropped when he came out in that. *He's Anna's guy, he's Anna's guy, he's Anna's guy* His hair is SO cute too! Chris kept moving and wouldn't stop in front of our section so we could take a pic, so I was a bit disappointed in that. In fact, only JC stopped in front of us once. The rest just ran pass or slid pass on the conveyor belt. Lance liked standing in the round section but that was too far for me to get a picture. He was in fine form though. ;-) Did you see the promo for "On the Line"? And at the end when he kissed the girl? And the reaction from the audience? LOL! His acting seems to have improved and Joey seems have gotten a cute part in in too. Can't wait for it to come out in theaters. :-)

I don't remember much of the new songs, but I remember liking "Fallen" and "Selfish". It was weird to have only Justin sing lead on "Gone." The choreography for "Up Against the Wall" was a bit, uh, riske. I'm sure Anna didn't like THAT one at all, LOL! And the part where Justin laid down on the runway at the end of "Gone" and raised his you-know-what up...now, that wasn't necessary, was it, LOL! J-Skee is gonna like THAT! LOL!

The mechanical bulls were cool but Chris sticking his head into its butt was too funny. So was his striptease dance, LOL! That part cracked me up so bad. He was so cute doing it too! It was more cute than seductive, LOL!

That's all I can remember right now. I sure hope this comes out on video. Perhaps when they return to Madison Square Garden later in the tour. :-)

Okay, gotta go. Bye!
