Subject: APPLEBY FAMILY OF POPLAR BLUFF, MISSOURI

I am a decendant of MARTHA BELL APPLEBY-b.1880 in Missouri and she married a JAY RAY in Poplar Bluff, Butler Co., MO. Her father was WILLIAM HENSLEY APPLEBY- b.1846 in Wayne Co, now Butler co., MO and her mother was VIRGINIA L. C. KNOTT- b.1858 in OH. William's father was CHARLES C. APPLEBY- b.1823 in MO and mother was REBECCA SCOTT-b. 1828 in NC. Anyone with information on this family, please contact. Also- Jay and Martha moved to Oklahoma by 1904, then on to Lubbock,Texas after that. Hope to connect with some 'cousins' out there.
