They sound only as familiar as Ossining. My Applebee is Edward Ward, b. May 3, 1892 and son of Edward Ward, (b.& d. unknown but married Dec. 17, 1890 to Alice Benedict). Edward Ward Sr. was the son of John of Ossining/Sing Sing, NY (my gggrandfather). From the dates I have, it looks like John was here before Thompson's sons but it would be my guess they were somehow related. Do you have any other info surrounding that family? Do you know the third son's name?
