Hello David,

It was interesting to hear from the sheffield flood correspondance on the web that you are a descendant of Cowton Appleby, as am I.

My line is:
Cowton Appleby bnWinster 1836 married Sarah Anne ?. their eldest son was:

William Cowton Appleby bn sheffield 1860 married Mary Jane Clayton. Their eldest daughter was:

Florence (florrie) Appleby bn Sheffield 1884 who married Charles Harry Coward who is my father's paternal grandfather.

I am particularly interested in following back any direct lines and gathering sideways information to fill in the picture and would be pleased to share any information or contacts.
