John Appleby was married 1 June 1807 at Wickham, Queens Co., NB to Deborah Case d/o Elisha Case (Gagetown Anglican Records) I suspect Elizabeth (Allaby) Ruland is the Betsy [Ruling?] named in her grandfather Elisha Case's 1825 will along with the other Allaby children. Given her 1822 marriage, Elizabeth seems a bit old to fit in after John & Deborah's 1807 marriage. However, Deborah Case had an illegitimate daughter born in Sept. 1804, and I wonder if this might be where Elizabeth "Betsy" actually fits. If so, the father was George Connor of Greenwich Parish, Kings Co.
