Subject: John Appleby, b 1826, Staffordshire, England. (possibly Halmerend)

I have a John Appleby born 1826 in Staffs, England. On 1841 census for Knowlend, Staffs he is 15 yrs old. His parents are George Appleby born 15 Jan 1779 in Audley (age 60),Staffs, & Mary ? born c1781 in Staffs (age 60). His siblings on that census are Thomas Appleby (age 34), & George Appleby (age 25)
I also have on 1851 census for Shralley Brook, Staffs a John Appleby (age 2?, unreadable) with his wife Elizabeth & children Charles (age 4), and Mary (age 2)
Basically I am trying to prove/disprove that these 2 Johns are the same person. I have been trying to find a birth cert for this 2nd John but have had no luck.
Would very much appreciate any help anyone can provide.
