If she did not ask for one I would be a bit suspicious.
Would not be the first time someone sent in a request for an absentee ballot unsolicited and ( if not used by the person whose name was on it ) voted it for themselves.

Seems to me I rmember where one scam did that counting votes for people who did not vote for the candidate of the counters choice and backed up the votes with absentee ballots the voter never saw ...Nevada maybe or possably someowhere in california or some other western state as I remember.

DO we suspect voter fraud or just an enthusiastic turn out the vote volunteer making sure people had the option to vote absentee or early.

Hey My Mom was a lifelong Republican since she first began to vote and never missed an election . the only solicitation for support for a candidate donations came from the Clinton campaign for his reelection drive. Guess they thought all women would vote for the democrat .... or at least for Bubba....

Heck I could walk to the poling place through the woods or along a road or two if it's a nice day.
