Subject: Wonderful Time to Tour DC

Dec. 85? I hit DC in rare heavy snow off a Grayhound Bus a several days ride from Nogales where I was humping up and down tough hills in Yaqi country in quest of a lost "Catholic" silver catche, I had lost about 1/3 of my body weight to critters in my gut and was taking the booze cure. All I had was an 8 lb nylon/holofil sleeping bag and a pair of saddle bags. I met a de frocked member of Congress living in the Bus Station (who also had not bathed in months, my last bath was in Montreal 8 weeks before) No one was on the Streets! no transit running, but, the Museums were all open! gallerys with NO guards!
I got a large bottle of Brandy and took a walking tour; a couple of WHITE days with a snow cocoon in some bushs, no high priced Hotels! Very peacefull.
and NO volpos !
I left the Congress criter my cocoon and paced the storm North back to Canada with a bus load of Salvadorians/Guats who's entery to Montreal was literally life or death. They most all got to Montreal, with me and th snow, so, I'm not "allowed" in Canada anymore.
Aside, in the book "Silence on the Mountain" a brief mention was made of antique Nazi killers in coal scuttle helmets exterminating villages in Guat....in the 90's!
I just found of the Hiroshima bomb was made with, part, Nazi Urainum !,History more stange than fiction.
Just how Nazi is USA anyway?
