Hosted by MTV’s Carson Daly, along with MTV VJs Damien Fahey, Hilarie Burton, LaLa, and Quddus, TRL’s 1000th episode will feature live performances from TRL heavyweights No Doubt and Nick Carter with special guest appearances from Ashanti, B2K, Vanessa Carlton, Blink 182’s Mark Hoppus, Snoop Dogg, and *NSYNC’s JC Chasez. Throughout the show, viewers will get to relive the most memorable TRL moments from the very first show to Backstreet Boys pandemonium in Times Square to appearances from Madonna, Jim Carrey, Tom Cruise, and Britney Spears, just to mention a few of the many celebrities that graced the halls of TRL. On TRL, it wasn’t all about the celebrities... the fans were a huge part of TRL’s success and TRL will take a look back at some of the most memorable fan interactions. In addition, TRL will honor the guest who has appeared on TRL the most.
