Good morning, everyone...I got an email from a friend this morning and it really made me think. But the thing is, I want to know what the rest of you think as well. I'd love to start some sort of discussion on this, cuz well...it's healthy and it stimulates our brains. :)

So here it is, the email my friend sent to me:

I was listening to the John Mayer CD on my way home tonight and when track 2 came on I got to thinking. "Am I living it right?" Just listen to the track and you will hear what I mean. I am sure the song has a totally different meaning, but at this moment it just hit me. One of the last lines is: "Everything happens for a reason, there's no reason why I can't I ask myself, if I'm living it right?"
I just hope that I am doing this right because I only have one shot at it, ya know??

Here's what I told my friend:

Everyone wonders that. It's completely normal and logistical to wonder if we are living it right. All you can do is be true to who you are and what it is you want. We never know if we are doing it right...we only know how we feel. If you feel happy and fulfilled then you know what...you're living it right. I'm not saying that you can't want more or have bad days and such...but if, on the whole, you look at your life and you smile...then I think you've answered the question yourself. If you can't smile about your life right now...then again, you've answered your own question. Me...of course I'm not completely happy but for the most part I am. I may not be completely living my life "right" but I'm on that path. Only you know in your heart if you are living your life "right"...no one can tell you if you are or not. There is a reason for everything...God has his reasons and altho we may not understand them, we know that he has them. The only thing you can do is continue to live your life the best way you know how...with the love and guidance of the Lord, your family and friends, and your heart and know that you are loved.

So I'm just curious...what do y'all think?? I look forward to your answers. Have a good Monday.

Much Love and God bless...

"Perhaps it is good to have a beautiful mind, but an even greater gift is to discover a beautiful heart." - John Nash

Where the Boys Are

Find out what the guys of 'N Sync have been up to -- From appearing on the big screen to canoodling in a corner, we reveal what the ''Pop'' stars have REALLY been doing in their downtime by Lisa Costantini

HI, HI, HI With plays, clothing lines, and more, the members of 'N Sync have been reintroducing themselves as independent men

It's not often that one hears the name ''Justin'' without it being followed by ''Lance,'' ''Chris,'' ''J.C.,'' and ''Joey.'' But with a much-deserved hiatus since the July 2001 release of their five-times platinum ''Celebrity,'' the guys have been keeping themselves busy sans bandmates. We thought you'd want to know what they're up to. Especially since the last time they were spotted together, Joey was being crushed by a Chili's cargo box.

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE

-BORN Jan. 31, 1981, in Memphis, Tenn.

-NOW HE'S... Timberlake is in the studio working on his debut solo album, set for a fall release on Jive. And when he's not working, Britney's ex is playing...with ''Ms. Jackson if you're nasty.'' Janet and Justin (who are collaborating on a single for Timberlake's record) were reportedly spotted locking lips in a Miami Beach club. Maybe People's Most Eligible Bachelor of 2002 will bring his new leading lady when he performs publicly for the first time without his band, Aug. 29 at the MTV Video Music Awards at Radio City Music Hall (but don't bet on it). The group is up for three prizes, but Timberlake isn't having much luck lately -- he lost twice at the Teen Choice Awards. He was nominated for Choice Male Fashion Icon (Brad Pitt took the award) and Choice Male Hottie (Josh Hartnett walked away with that one).

-HE SAYS ''Right now I want to enjoy life.'' Timberlake adds that he wrote his new songs to reflect his growing independence. ''I'm throwing it out there, seeing what happens. I'm testing the water, man.''

-WE SAY As independent as this 21-year-old claims to be, he always seems to be surrounded by a bevy of beauties. This could work to the benefit of his upcoming record; in addition to Jackson, Alicia Keys and Jill Scott will reportedly lend their voices. What, no Britney?

LANCE BASS (James Lansten Bass)

-BORN May 4, 1979, in Laurel, Miss.

-NOW HE'S... After months of speculation, Bass is on track to be a member of the Soyuz crew bound for the Russian international space station in October. Cosmonaut training began in July at Star City, Russia, located just outside of Moscow, where Bass also recently underwent surgery to correct an irregular heartbeat, on the off chance that it would hinder him in space. Unfortunately, fans' hearts didn't skip a beat for Bass' buss with ''On the Line'''s Emmanuelle Chriqui. The couple lost Choice Liplock at the Teen Choice Awards to Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst's upside-down ''Spider-Man'' kiss. Bass was also nominated for Choice Hissy Fit for ''On the Line,'' but the yellow surfboard went to Ben Stiller in ''Zoolander.'' It's just as well -- the astro-not's acceptance speech would have had to have come via satellite, anyway.

-HE SAYS While in training, the guy who said ''let's just say the doctors know more about me than I know about me'' hopes to become ''quasi-fluent'' in Russian. ''I can't wait to learn a new language. It's going to be difficult, but I'm looking forward to it.''

-WE SAY If this teen idol hopes to still have a following upon his return to Earth, he'd better set that rocket for hyperspeed before he's forgotten (see Vanilla Ice, Debbie Gibson, and Jordan Knight). On second thought, the TV show set to chronicle his outer-space exploits might do the trick of keeping him fresh in the minds -- and hearts -- of his fans.

JOEY FATONE (Joseph Anthony Fatone Jr.)

-BORN Jan. 28, 1977, in Brooklyn, N.Y.

-NOW HE'S... This New York native is in town to play Mark Cohen in ''Rent'' from Aug. 5 through Dec. 22. But if a Broadway ticket is out of your price range, you can catch him on the big screen playing Angelo in ''My Big Fat Greek Wedding.'' He's also set to appear in the upcoming film ''The Bros,'' directed by Jonathan Figg. When not in front of the camera, Fatone can be found behind it -- he just directed the video for Luis Fonsi's (a Latino artist who opened for a leg of Britney's tour) first English-language single, ''Secret,'' and the home-video footage that he shot when the quintet was just starting out is now available online, as ''The Reel *NSYNC: The Early Years.''

-HE SAYS Joey told Teen People this summer that he and the guys are ''going to be writing more music [post-hiatus], coming out with another album, probably next year.

-''WE SAY A role in the breakout indie-film hit of the year, a starring role in a long-running Broadway show, and a choice directing gig? That just might make him the 'N Syncer most likely to segue into a real movie career.

CHRIS KIRKPATRICK (Christopher Alan Kirkpatrick)

-BORN Oct. 17, 1971, in Clarion, Penn.

-NOW HE'S... Being very hands-on with his clothing company, FuManSkeeto, which has appeared on ''The Sopranos'' and ''Boston Public.'' When not working, Kirkpatrick is also very hands-on when it comes to his other favorite subject: girls. He'll be joining Backstreet Boy Nick Carter's ex, pop princess Willa Ford, to cohost the Miss Teen USA pageant in Texas Aug. 28 on CBS.

-HE SAYS The budding mogul told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette in July, ''I enjoy trying to inspire myself. I enjoy the artistic side of everything. Music, art, fashion, everything. I just like to be on the cutting edge of it. I'm into designing houses and interior design. I like change. I like creating things out of nothing.''

-WE SAY As befits the founder of 'N Sync and the oldest of the group, Kirkpatrick seems to be making the most mature decisions about a post-boy-band career. And good thing, too -- anyone seen that new Mohawk he's sporting?

JC CHASEZ (Joshua Scott Chasez)

-BORN Aug. 8, 1976, in Washington D.C.

-NOW HE'S... Writing and producing. Besides penning four songs for ''Celebrity,'' he's written tunes for such minor acts as ''Pop Stars 2'' winners Scene 23 and has produced songs for Tony Lucca's upcoming album (Lucca opened for 'N Sync and is now on tour with Marc Anthony). More recently, he was in Orlando shooting hoops for 'N Sync's Challenge for the Children IV, on July 27 and 28.

-HE SAYS Chasez told CosmoGIRL! in February: ''I've been quoted as saying that girls come second, and I don't think there's anything wrong with that. I'm married to my best friends. My work involves four of the closest people in my entire life.''

-WE SAY Writing/producing could be this guy's ticket out of Candyland, but all work and no play make JC a very dull boy indeed. We suggest that he rethink that ''married to best friends'' stance and join Justin in his seemingly frequent club crawls.

Joey Fatone's Broadway Debut Earns Raves From 'Rent'-Heads

"I thought it was going to be pretty bad, but it's been holding up pretty well, actually. I'm very shocked at myself." — Joey Fatone

'NSYNC fans and Rent-Heads seem like they come from two different worlds, but if Joey Fatone's first week on Broadway is any indication, those worlds are in sync.

On August 5, the curtain rose on Fatone's debut in the Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning musical "Rent," in which the pop star stepped into the lead role of Mark Cohen, the struggling documentary filmmaker who acts as the narrator and moral conscience of a group of New York City 20-somethings (see "Joey Fatone Finds Broadway 'Exciting,' But 'A Lot Of Work"). While "Rent" has been running on Broadway for six years, this was the first time that a music star had taken a role.

"A lot of people in the industry do understand that Broadway is a very hard thing to do, because we're doing eight shows a week," Fatone said on Thursday prior to curtain call at the Nederlander Theatre. "Not many stars or artists or singers do a lot of shows. Maybe when they first start out, you know, every artist that's starting out tries to do a lot of shows. But we do eight shows a week, and it's kinda tough."

Opening night, Fatone said, was the toughest show of all. Not because of all the pent-up expectations — many Rent-Heads expected him to fail, or at least believed he wouldn't be up to snuff — but because it was a lifelong dream come true.

"I was a little nervous, obviously, and the adrenaline was rushing," he said. "It was very exciting to be doing it. My parents didn't even tell me they were coming. And I slipped up a little on some lines here and there, but it was all right. I'm sure I'll probably mess up again. You do brain freezes, or you zone out sometimes, but we'll see what happens."

Thursday night's sell-out crowd attracted a mix of obsessive "Rent" fans — some of whom had seen the musical upwards of 50 times — and rabid 'NSYNC fans making their first foray into theater. Many of the fans questioned, some of whom had traveled as far as from Dallas and Detroit to see the show, were attending for the second time that week, and had seen Fatone's debut on Monday. The overall response? Fairly positive.

'NSYNC fans like Kate, 18, said that he sounded better singing in the theater than in concert. "It's more mature," she said. "I liked it a lot better than his kiddie concerts."

"Rent" fans like Nicki, 19, said that she had low expectations for Fatone and was pleasantly surprised. Not that his performance completely converted her. " 'NSYNC could get on a bus with Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera and drive off a tall mountain for all I care," she said. "But I wasn't as disappointed as I thought I would be."

If anything, the conversion will most likely be the other way around, "Rent" fans predicted. "I was actually really impressed with Joey," Andrea, 19, said. "I couldn't picture him at first being Mark, because Mark is usually a dorky kid, but he pulled it off. I just think that this is different than 'NSYNC, and maybe it'll convert a few 'NSYNC fans, which is cool because this is really an eye-opening play."

"I spent most of my college years sleeping on the streets for cheap tickets for 'Rent,' " said Krista, 25, who considers herself equally rabid about the group as she is the musical. "I can't even count all the guys I've seen play Mark. And honestly, Joey is probably the second best I've seen, compared to the original. He was really, really natural on stage, and for this being his first show was phenomenal. Usually Justin and J.C. are the singers in the band, and you don't hear that much from Joey, which is unfortunate, because he can really sing."

'NSYNC fans were also happy to note that Fatone had incorporated at least one signature dance move into "Rent"'s choreography — when he sings the lyric about "any passing fad" in "La Vie Boheme," Fatone busts out a bit from the "Pop" video. "It's the little, you know, '80s/'90s breakdance kinda thing," he said. "It was just my own interpretation, you know, to do whatever, so that's what I did. That's what came out."

Even diehard "Rent" fans were willing to put aside rock elitism and allowed that Fatone managed to make the switch from pop to rock singing quite effectively. Fatone said that he thought the transition would be rough on his voice at first.

"We don't have ear monitors, so it's kind of hard to hear everything," he said. "And a lot of it is over-articulation so people in the back can obviously understand what you're saying. I thought it was going to be pretty bad, but it's been holding up pretty well, actually. I'm very shocked at myself."

"If he would have opened the show, with the original cast, the Tony Award would have gone to him," Brandon, 18, said. "He's got the voice, he's got the looks, he's got everything. This is the best thing they could have done for 'Rent.' "

So much so, Fatone got a standing ovation — and he didn't even notice. "It was weird, because I was not really paying attention that much," Fatone said. "My parents kinda told me what happened, because I was like, I was just, 'I finally got through one show!' It was overwhelming.

"A couple of people have told me it felt like I've been doing it for a long time," he continued. "So it's been pretty interesting. It's scary that I'm kinda relaxed, which is weird in a sense, because I mean, every time before I go out, I am a little bit nervous. And it's like, 'Let's just do it,' and the minute I get out there, I'm fine."

Fatone's stint in "Rent" runs through December 22.

Hey ladies...it seems as tho no one is really posting anymore. So here's what I'm going to do...I'm going to ask each of you if you want to keep the Always board going or not. If so, just reply to this post. If not, reply as well and say why. I just feel that if no one is really going to be coming here any more I'm just going to call Linz and tell her what the deal is and tell her that I'll probably change it to some sort of chat board instead of an *NSYNC board.
If y'all want to keep the board an *NSYNC board let me know...if y'all would rather it were just a chat board let me know. And if y'all think the board should just go away, again...let me know.
I guess I'm just trying to find out how many people visit this board other than myself. From the counter I can see people visit it, but it looks as tho it's about four people a day. I know I'm one of those.
So please, if you visit this board and want to keep it up and running...let me know. Post something...anything. Let's keep the conversations going. It doesn't have to be *NSYNC related at all. And if it is, right on...but like I said...just post.
Take care!
Much Love and God bless all of you...

Joey Fatone of 'N Sync to Make His Broadway Debut in 'Rent'
By JESSE McKINLEY

In a move likely to thrill untold scores of teenage girls as well as a handful of Broadway producers, Joey Fatone, a member of the multiplatinum boy band 'N Sync, will join the cast of the long-running musical "Rent" next month, its producers said yesterday.

Mr. Fatone, 25, will be making his Broadway debut in the role of Mark, a struggling video artist who acts as the musical's narrator and its moral compass. Mr. Fatone's first performance is set for Aug. 5; he is to stay with the show through Dec. 22. He began rehearsals yesterday at a studio in Midtown Manhattan, though producers were loath to say exactly where, for fear of screaming, rehearsal-interrupting fans.

On a break from rehearsal, Mr. Fatone said he had wanted to do a Broadway show since high school, when he performed in several musicals. So when he had a gap in his schedule — the band's last tour ended in April and his bandmate Lance Bass is training for a potential space mission — Mr. Fatone decided to audition. "It's just a cutting edge kind of thing," Mr. Fatone said of "Rent," adding that he had also considered auditioning for "Beauty and the Beast," the Disney musical. "It's nice to have a chance to play a character, not just be myself."

"Rent," a modern retelling of "La Bohème" set in the arty grottoes of the Lower East Side, was written by the composer Jonathan Larson and won the Pulitzer Prize for drama in 1996. It has been running at the Nederlander Theater for more than six years.

Since moving to Broadway, the production has grossed approximately $125 million, and even more than that from its national tours and international productions. And while the show's sales have slowed in recent years, producers hope Mr. Fatone will tap into a whole new audience for the production.

"It's one of those wonderful things where both parties wanted it to happen," said Kevin McCollum, one of the show's producers. "When things are mutual, it doesn't take long to make a deal."

*hugest hugs ever* I hope all is well with all of you!

Hello everyone! I decided to post about what's going on in my life lately. Well I just finished my first year of college (I go to the local community college)and I have one more year until I get my associates degree in Business Administration. After that I'll transfer to a university but I'm not sure where. The week after next I'm going to Virginia Beach, VA to visit my sister. I was planning on seeing my friend that is in the Navy and she is stationed at Norfolk,VA which is right there by VA Beach. Well today I called her grandma to see how I could get a hold of her cause I wanted to meet up with her, but she's out to sea for the whole month of June! That sucks! :( I'm really excited to go but that sort of bums me out.

Bunny, I'm glad to hear that you will still be friends with your ex-roomate. I know exactly what you mean. I have some friends that I love but I could never EVER live with them! :P

I'm still with my boyfriend; we've been dating for a year and four months. I love him more than anything and I thank God for him! :) I don't mean to get all lovey-dovey on you guys, but damn, if I'm going to get sentimental about anyone it's him! LOL I've really grown a lot because of our relationship. I've learned some very important lessons about life, people, and more importantly, myself. I've learned to trust myself and how I feel and not let other people get in the way of that. I've also learned to hand things over to God and let him deal with them in the way that's best for me. Keenan's, my boyfriend, grandma says "Give it all to Jesus." I believe that is SO true and I've found that it gives you peace because you know that God and the decisions that he makes will never fail you.

Casey, actually my name on this board came from me joking around with my friends. We were just talking about how cute Steve from Blues Clues was and then we called him Scuba Steve like the one from Big Daddy. Then we decided that the word "scuba" meant "cool" so we started calling each other Scuba....then our names. So when I started coming here I chose to be scuba. I know it's silly but hey, we had fun!

Penny, I'm glad to hear from you too. I really like this board. To me it's not about *NSYNC anymore, not that I don't still talk about them sometimes, but I am by no means a fanatic anymore. I like this board because of the great people that are here! :) I hope we stay in contact through more posting! Take care everyone!

I jsut wanted to stop by and say What's up!!! Saw that Scuba dropped in. Its nice to see you again. Hope you see this.

Nothing much going on with me. Just moved into my third and hopefully last, apartment. This moving every year is getting tiring. The next time I move, I hope that its because some man has come to ask me to marry him or something. Not holding my breath, but a girl can dream.

Still loving me some Joey. He IS my sunshine, you know. JC is just as beautiful as ever, Justin is adorable, Chris is hot, and Lance is sexy. So, nothings changed basically.

Happy belated birthday Mary Beth. I hope it was wonderful for you.

Hey all,
Don't get mad, but for all those who didn't beleive the Britney Jutsin spit, she confirmed it at a Britsh tv show(clip shown on acess hollywood) where she said she was "single".The article that follows is from ew.com(entertainmentweekley). I personally don't wanna believe that they have slpit up, but i kinda have to when britney says it.
JUST SAID NO Spears admits she's single

SPLITS ''I'm single... right now.'' That's what Britney Spears said in an interview on British TV show ''Big Breakfast'' that aired Wednesday, USA Today reports. This follows her declaration at a London press conference on Monday that she was not in an ''intense relationship'' right now. It's the clearest statement yet that she and Justin Timberlake are through, despite weeks of denials from both Spears and the couple's publicist, who said just last week that the two singers ''love each other very much and have not broken up.'' Of course, Spears has always been single; after all, she and the 'N Sync singer were never married, so maybe this is another carefully ambiguous statement.

I am heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere!!!! Yes I have been MIA but I'm baaaaaack!! And even better than before.

I've had a rough 6 months! I had to be put on Prozac for a while for mild depression. My sister had a baby (again!! that makes 5) I have crazy ass friends that are demanding, what else? Oh I have been harassing people as well.

Mary Beth thanks for the love!

So yesterday, my roommate and i were getting ready to go to dinner with some friends and I was in a weird ass mood and was singing Christmas Carols. needless to say it scared her.

And I made her listen to me sing a song for Lizzie. I write songs for people, they usually all sound the same except for the words.

Scuba!! Glad to see ya!! I have a guy friend that I gave the nickname Scuba to. His name is really Steve and well one day he was saying something to me and all of a sudden I just burst out and said, "DAMN YOU SCUBA STEVE!!!" and the name has stuck! We're very weird and it's fun to mess with people's heads. He's really really really really really really really really hot, he's about 5'9" bic shaves his head and has his lip pierced. Did I mention he's hot?

But I proooooooooooooooomise that I'll be around more! I'm gonna call Linz this weekend and get the URL's to the back grounds so that we can have our background back!! yay!!

Love ya all

Okay, everyone...here it is...JUNE!! Can you believe it's already JUNE!?!?! I can't. Wow.
But alas, we need a birthday rollcall. Anyone who has a birthday this month, let me know so I can post it and we can all harrass you on your the day of your birth!!
Hope you all are well...I'm doing well...counting down to my Goo Goo Dolls concert in 16 days!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAHH! I so just ADORE that band!! I cannot stress enough how much you should buy there new disc. It's awesome!!! I HEART THEM! Okay, I'm done...
Still loving my *NSYNCers...in fact I've started a new fan fiction site. I haven't written in two years, but the old completed story (When Your Eyes Say It) and the new uncompleted story (7th Street Entry) are both up there. The addy is: http://www.angelfire.com/nb/bunnybass so go there, visit the message board and either tell me how horrible of a writer I am or how great I am. :) Hee hee...and if anyone would like their story hosted or linked to, feel free to contact me. I'd love to link and host stories. Here's the deal tho: If you want me to link, you must have at least ONE completed story on your site. If you want me to host your story you need to send me a chunk of your story in an email. DO NOT ATTACH IT OR I WILL JUST DELETE IT (virus paranoid). Just copy and paste it into the email. But yeah...I'd love to host and link. So let me know!!
Take care...
hugs and smooches
