JC Chasez Wants Your Opinion, But Keep It On The Download
11.07.2002 7:56 AM EST

JC Chasez is recording solo material and he wants you to critique it.

The 'NSYNC star said on Friday that he's close to releasing some material on OnlyArtist.com, the new Web venture he was promoting on his T-shirt at the MTV Video Music Awards.

"I am releasing original material on there as an experiment, a writer's experiment," Chasez explained at a party to celebrate the release of Justin Timberlake's debut solo album (Click for photos from the party). "What happens is I'll release a song or whatever, then I get feedback, and like ... it's an open forum for criticism on writing ideas and stuff."

Currently the site offers only a registration form, but a full launch is planned.

In the meantime, one of Chasez's songs, "Blowing Me Up (With Her Love)," will be released to radio in early December. The song will be included on the soundtrack to the upcoming movie "Drumline," due December 10 (see " 'NSYNC's JC Chasez Records Solo Tracks, Considers Album").

Though Dallas Austin, producer of "Drumline" and its soundtrack, said he expected Chasez to release a solo album, JC said his Web site is his top priority. Second to Timberlake, Chasez has been the most hands-on member of 'NSYNC, co-writing material and standing out in concert (see " 'NSYNC Tour Opener: It's The Justin And JC Show!").

Timberlake's Justified was released Tuesday (see "Timberlake, Janet Jackson Make Sexy Pair On Justified").
