Hi Everyone,
I haven't been on here for ages, I think about camp all the time and miss everything about it, the campers, directors, the laughs we all had.
I was comming back for the 2nd year when I found out I was pregnant, I was so upset as a really wanted to come back. Hopefully one day I could come back if thats ok Charyl?
I now have a beautiful little girl whos now 17 months old and i'm due to be married on 25th October this year.
I have wonderful memories of camp 2005, I will never forget it.
I would like to say a huge Hello to the directors - Charyl, Bob, Shelby, Paula and Clare, miss your happy faces. (Shelby say Hi to Spencer for me, miss you both loads, hope you are all well).
Campers - Kim, Rachal, molly, Erica, katlin and all the others who remembers me.
Hello to Kassie,Satu and Laura hope you are well.

hi guy's so it's the count down to camp again!! i for one will be thinking and wishing i was there there this summer!! your all going to have a great time!!! it's a shame the bath's from boy will not be there to teach on the lake! and all so tennis(brayo is farwell's best player ever) and up on the soccer field(brayo is all so farwell's best ever player/coach)but never fear Liam ralph (corsham boy) will be coming over to coach tennis and soccer i would like to add no matter what he's!! he is not as good as i was me being 38!!!..but any way i will miss camp and i no your all going to have a fab time!!! i look forward to seeing the photo's have a great summer one and all!!!

Hey everyone!!
Wow, i haven't been on the message board in forever! Just wanted to post and let you all know that I won't be going back to camp this summer ... there were so many conflicts and I'm going to be attending a theatre program here in London instead. Still, I am going to miss Farwell SOOOOOOOOO much - after six summers it's more of a home than some places i've lived!
i hope that you guys have a great summer, and I'm looking forward to lots and lots of pictures!!!!! love you all : D

Dylan Avery has finally arrived! As my old friends know, my daughter was pregnant this winter. The baby made his apperance yesterday. He is beautiful. 7lbs 1oz. 20 in long.
You guys can meet him this summer. I can't wait for him to meet my Farwell family.

Hi,
I'm not sure who'll remember me now but I was just thinking about camp and thought I'd send my love!!
Every time I post messages on here I forget to check for replies and when I finally remember I can't find my original message because I leave it too long!
I'm just about to finish uni in a couple of months and I'm hoping to eventually get a job as a physiotherapist in New Zealand!
Anyway, I hope everybody is well, it would be nice to hear from any of my campers or if you were in my swimming groups etc. I'll remember to check for replies this time!

Hey guys! Guess what! I got accepted into the boarding school I want to go to!!! I found out on March 10th, but I had a sudden urge to come to the message board today. So I just wanted to say that. I just got back home from a school trip to Washington D.C. It was so much fun! We went for a week and saw so many places! I am so happy that I got accepted into The Gunnery! And no, the school does not involve guns. Everyone asks that whenever I say the name of the school. But I have a question, I need to decide on whether I should go to this schol or not. If you were me, and you had the choice, which one would you go to? Boarding School, or Public School? I have to go. Bye guys! I miss Farwell so much!

I haven't been on here in forever, but today I was listening to the radio on my computer. There's this program on pandora.com where you can type in a song you like and it plays others like it. Anyways, I typed in a random song I like and one of the songs it played like it was Barges, and then I thought of camp and missed everyone and hoped you were all doing well! Hey everyone,
We are finally home. Europe was great! The people were wonderful, and the places we saw were amazing! We did a lot of running around,but I would not have missed one little stair.
Just a thought for you: some of their buildings are older than our country. How's that for reality?
Adam and Olda's parents welcomed us like we were long time friends. They were the warmest of people. Now I know why they are such great people.
As soon as pics are done I will get them on.
If you get a chance to visit a friend from Farwell take it. It is good to see a different point of veiw.

Hey Everyone,
We are in Brno now and having a blast! We went to Austria to go swimming. It was fantastic!
By the time we get done we will have visited four countries besides the US.
The guys and I will post pictures soon. So look for them. This country is amazing! Of course the people are fantastic that we are staying with. Adams parents ROCk!

Hello everyone,
I have the first report about Donna's trip. They made it!!!! Olda, Peter and me were waiting at the airport and yesterday at 3 p.m. local time they arrived. Unluckily it was the coldest day of this winter in Czech Republic and so we were freezning.
We are staying at Peter's and we have walked at least 10 miles in Prague so far. Castle, astronomical clock, Charle's bridge, museums, stores, they are excited about everything and very happy to be here.
On Monday they are going to Brno, my city, where they will stay until Thursday when they are returning home.
We will post some pictures asap.

I miss you all sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much! Every year i always forget to light my candle. Right now I am in my dining room looking back on camp farwell memo' s (like when i was "fishing" and fell in the lake) and a bunch of other times . What's really on my nerves right now is that my dance teacher play this song every mon. and tues. and the first part is guitar, not like Jo bro guitar like classic guitar and then some body starts saying "bassia bassia"and it's stuck in my head now. okay..so i know it might be a bit obsessive to be posting another really long message but i was just checking in to ask a few questions and everything.
so...two nights ago i went to my first official concert!
oh. my. god. it was the BEST NIGHT EVER!
i saw cobra starship, metro station, we the kings and the cab...but you probably dont want to hear about that..haha
anyway
i was just thinking of the night when Freefall came to camp to give us a concert!
i still have the poster!
just wondering if you guys were going to perhaps do that again this year??
it was a really great experience.
in some ways...concerts like that are better than big ones like the jonas brothers ones (evenn tho i wud do ANYTHING to go to one..but thats just me)

As you might know i will not be coming back to camp this year, but it seem to be that I cant get enough of the the US.
I turn 21 on the 9th of March and I have decided that I am gonna celebrate it with a trip to Chicago and St Louis for my actuall birthday.
I am heading to the America, first stop Chicago, in the end of Feb. Then heading to St: Louis and then back to Chicago about the 12th Match before I head back home to Sweden.

it's wierd thinking about camp in the middle of my state testing and then looking outside and it's snowing.
ugh...just gets me all spazzing out.
well..good thing is there's only..uhm...six more months until i go to camp??
well...it's just a bit too depressing to think of how many days until i can go back up there.
things are good down here in the suburbs...not a lot.
i've just discovered my complete obsession for music and i've become addicted. haha...cant stop...too hard.

Hey guys! It's Alina from Mixing Bowl '05 & '06. I don't know if anyone remembers me? I had a random urge to look at the message board yesterday, and I feel like I should post! Here's a little update: Some of you may remember my episode at camp, when I was taken to the hospital. I would like to tell you all that in early 2007 I was diagnosed with epilepsy, and we are 99% positive I had a seizure at camp, but since no one witnessed it, we can't be sure. Just thought everyone should know. And I've been missing Farwell lately--I've been thinking about my summer plans and whatnot. Last year I went to Idol Camp, but it definitely wasn't as good as Farwell. I mean, it was fun, but I missed going to a traditional camp. I have an offer to go abroad on a student ambassador program this summer, but I've sort of been thinking I want to go back to Farwell. I miss the campfires, giggling and talking at night in the cabins, windsurfing, movies, just everything! I honestly can't remember why I left! Oh, also, I've been doing some acting lately; I took an acting for the camera course in the fall. Nothing else is really new though--just missing Farwell! Wow this is getting long now...I've got to go practice piano before my lesson. But I'd love to hear from anybody!

Well i have some AWSOME news but some really sad news.....
the bad news is that my 1st horse went lame and now my second horse has a bone chip for race and he soon will go lame.......BUT on the bright side is that we r going to find a perfect one...(i hope)...and yeah......
OH and i really hope i am ranked higher this next year in riding...cuz 1 i learned hoe to canter!!and i also have learned soooooo much!

This summer was really an important experience for me and I hope that one summer I'll be able to come visit or maybe come back as a counselor (maybe in a few years but don't really know). For now I'm just taking things as they come, but I just wanted to say how much I miss camp and I want everyone to know that I'm thinking about each and every one of you more than you know. So yeah, that's my little speech! :D Okay, well I hope everyone is doing good, I miss you all so much! :)

Does anyone else sometimes find themselves thinking, "Wow, I really miss Frank." ? Cause I do. In fact I was looking at some pictures and one Kaitlin sent to me of Frank 'proposing' prompted me to come on over here and post! :P
I'm having a fairly good semester at school, working extremely hard, but that's life. I'm excited for Christmas break when I'll be heading out to California for some SUNSHINE! WOOT!
Had a fantastic Thanksgiving dinner at Camp with Bob, Charyl, Charlsie, Marley and co. It was good to be home :D Thanks for having me guys, it was so good to see you all! I've been missing you tons!
I'm sure you'll all be glad to hear that Kate B, Andrew, Hannah L and Lucie all continue to pick on me whenever possible. So life is normal and good. I hope you're all doing well!

Hey, everyone! I'm possibly coming here this summer, but I'm not sure. What I really want to know is, how is the vaulting program? I know of only one other summer camp that offers vaulting- Black River Farm and Ranch in Michigan- so I'm pretty happy that it's offered here as well. Thanks!

Hey everyone! I miss you all terribly, and my mom sent me some pictures of the ponies I thought you would enjoy. We had our first real snow in Western Massachusetts today, and the ponies didn't have the warm winter blankets on yet, so they are all snow-covered and kind of scruffy becausee they haven't been clipped yet. Joy and Jennie miss all of you, and can't wait until next year!

OMG OMG OMG my horse just arrived 2day !!!!!!!!!!He is the sweetest horse ive ever met!!i love him soo much and his registerd Quarter Horse name is "Ima Sporty Hotrod"...LOL! But i am gonna change his show name 2 "Doc's Chocolate Beauty"! And his Blood line is amazing and his Canter is 2 die 4!!!!!

I just want to show you what kind of influence Farwell has:
my daugther and I are off to Czech Republic in February. We are going over for a week to visit some of the alumni staff. We are both very excited. We will leave feb. 14 and get there the 15. I think it will be very exciting.
If anyone is in the area that week stop and see us. I am sure Petr, Olda, and Adam would love to see you, too.

hi ladies! ellie here. sorry i haven't posted in soooooo long, but school and everything has gotten to run my life this year, i've barely had time to breath!
so these past couple of months have been pretty good. i have a relativley good class scheduele, with exception of my math class. but curricular is good, what is even better are the so- curriculars. the class of 2010 won the fall tournament of plays, which i was featured as "mom-bot"! we were in a play called "property rites" and it's about this sales man who buy this set of 16 "figures" which are robots. he tries to sell them, but it doesn't really work out, then he has the repair company come in to fix one of them, and finds out that they are all broken and he won't be able to get any money off of them. then two of the figures gain autonomy or the ability to run themselves on their own, without the press of a button, like how we all run ourselves. the ending was really creepy, but i won't give that away incase you see it sometime.
i have had to cut down to one day of riding a week because my scheduele is SO busy, but the days i do go are very very fun, but getting very very cold. i also have a job at a local grocery store that will start when it opens in december. i am a coffee barista at the coffee bar inside.
i just have a couple queations:
i know the deadline for the CIT applications was pushed off about a month, but are the replies coming anytime soon?
and where are the logs? i really miss seeing the log every month in my mailbox!
well, hope everyone has a great thanksgiving! i know i will, because i am going to st. croix to meet my stepfathers family!!

Hello all my sweeties all over the globe,
I have now got some fantastic news which results in some bad news.
I have been accepted to an ambassador program and now I am officially a U.N. youth ambassador! I am going to work with different projects all over the country and specialize in the Millennium Goals. This means that I can’t come back to Farwell next year because I will be working with the projects.
By the way we got our first snow in where I live in Sweden today. I have stayed inside because I have a cold, but it sure looked pretty ourside.
Hope everyone has a fantastic fall and hope everyone had fun during Halloween!

quiet and cool.
There is a loon that is performing a ritual on the water. Curious to watch.
Geese take a noisy break from their southward flight now and then.
Determined beavers rebuild their dam every day after Charyl and Bob break it up.
Visitors walk in and around or drive in frequently. Just looking around. No doubt enticed by the happy noises of summer that they heard from camp.
The sounds and sights of summer linger in our memories and promise another fun Farwell experience in 2008.
A great 2008!- that has a nice ring to it.

Hello Everyone!!! I have been so busy here!!! I got married a few weeks ago!! It was so sososososso much fun. Palola, Shelby and Grahm and the Hansons were all there in full effect!! Then I went to my friends wedding in Elmira NY it was very fun. Now I am back to work and very busy.

Hey everyone,
I am now writing from my hostel in NYC, just hours away from getting on my plane and flying out of the US. I have spent the time after camp traveling with Kate B and it has been a blast. We both visited Boston and New York city. I got to see some faces from camp: Emily Dagget,Inbal, Hannah W, Mary, Becky, Zaida Garcia and Kate of course (my travel buddy).
I want to thank Emily Dagget and her parents of being so nice and inviting me in to your home,and helping me to find my friend in Boston. :) just thinking of it makes me smile.
From the bottom of my heart I want to give a extra thanks to Zaida Garcia and her amazing family who invited me to stay over at their place last nighgt. You guys are amazing and I will miss you so much.
Well now is the time to say goodbuy to New York and the US. I am soon heading to Becky Jenkin's hostel and we are from there gonna go to JFK and get on the plane to London and there I am gonna fly back to Stockholm.
Thanks so much for this summer.

Hello Everyone,
I guess it was pretty funny because Ellie and i had the same idea, i was posting to see what was happening with the pictures and when i got to the board i saw she ha posted regarding them as well. Its so funny to look back at posts through-out the past year and see the new staff members posting to say hello and what they were teaching and how excited they were about it. i was looking and saw Charlotte posted before, and its funny cause' reading her post several months ago i was excited to be able to watch the videos, and it ended up she was in my cabin a a counselor. its just a lot of fun, and it brings back memories for fun times in GP <33333 i miss everyone, and wish the best of luck to everyone during their school year and the best of luck to those lucky enough to travel all around after camp. i will miss you all, but please stay in touch, if you don't have my info, just reply to this and i will send it to you, or just if you want to say hello. i wanted to thank all the people who made me feel just as welcome during first session as i have previously during 2nd session. all you girls are terrific and im going to miss you all. i will see you all again next year, but until then i send my love and i will do my best to keep in touch but pretty soon as the school year progresses, you know what happens you barely have enough time to breathe let alone write an email or two.

KING'S COURT UNITE!
I miss you guys so much! I can't wait to come visit on the weekend!
To all those other cabins... King's court is overall the best.
You know... I didn't want to go to camp. I thought I would hate it and it would be the worst possible thing i would have ever done. Now that its over and I'm back home (actually I slept over Delia's house the 1st night I got back and I'm still at Delia's) I realize how much people at camp mean to me. Despite it being my 1st year, I'd like to consier Camp Farwell another home to me. I met some amazing people at camp who had taught me alot. I also dont think I'm as shy when it comes to drama. (haha! "I'm swishing and flicking the best I can, it's just not working!" or mabye "I'm not a monster! I'm a little girl, ok a very big little girl."
I guess in the end I want to thnak everyone. Everyone who took the time to get to know me. The people who became friends with me.
And as a final inside joke... I would liuke to tell Amanda Johnson to store her deoderant at room temp. :)
