I agree with Kara in both instances. Sherry did begin feeling angry and lonely but then she turned those negative feelings into positive actions. She was given negative news that she had ovarian cancer but she decided to fight the disease and become a genetic counelor. She is going to help others in her same situation deal with the hardships of ovarian cancer. Her sister on the other hand recieved good news but felt terrbile. She felt guilty but also happy and somewhat safe. She had to fight her good feelings to comfort and support her sister who is in pain. She also has to be aware that she could have the disease as well although she does not have the mutated genes.
