I agree with Kara's view that a positive result is not always the worst news and a negative result is not always the best news. As Kara said, Sherry's personal experience led her to do good things for others. Experiences are a large factor in shaping a person's character and personality. This is proven when Sherry used her experience to make a good thing out of the unfortunate situation. Also, a negative result may not be the best news because it can sometimes, especially in the case of Sherry and Lani, bring unwanted negative emotions. Lani felt guilty that she was spared and her sister was not. What she fails to realize is that is beyond her control. Her guilt seems to blind her from that rational thought. Hopefully, she can use her experience to help herself as well as others. If she could overcome her guilt she can fully be there for her sister and possibly help others deal with the same type of situation.
