Possible but from a statistical point of view, pretty unlikely. There is a lot of universe out there and 1) if we were created by some divine being ("nothing solid" so far), why did he/she/it waste time with all that nothingness? 2) if we are just a result of natural processes, seems likely that some other form of senttient organism would have developed - probably not recognizably human.
This is one of those questions that can really only ever be answered in the affirmative: either we find intelligent life or we just keep looking as the possibility of exhausting ever nook and cranny seems remote.
