((Just so everyone knows, the use of An and Blaise as well as the killing of the Lord and Lady were sanctioned, we don't have a mutineer on our hands or anything. And if we did, I'd crush him with my iron fist. Anyway, good job making Blaise not look like a lame-a** wimp, Paul. Much improvement from draft 1. And the glaring was quite satisfactory.))

Angharad stood stock still, staring at the blood-covered blade of the knife she held in her trembling hand. She'd killed a man. She'd taken the life of another living, breathing, human being. She didn't know whether she wanted cry like a child, or do some more damage. That was what scared her. She somehow managed to take in the fact that her parents were no longer alive. She nodded response to Frederick's voice, though she only distantly heard it. The knife fell to the ground, and the sound of metal on broken cobblestones seemed like a crash of thunder into her ears. She felt dizzy. Her vision began to waver, and she was faintly conscious that she had fallen to the ground. Then the world went black.
