Redd had hovered like a wet blanket around RJ and the others while they readied evrything, and she couldn't help but hop a little again when he asked it she was ready.
"YesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesYES ALREADY!"
She pried the door open and hopped inside, then waited while Rj pressed the button and the Star-Trek-esque glowie stuff descended over her body, doing wahtever it did to transport her, and the baby, to the transporter room on the Yamato. She breathed in deep, then sighed and smiled, looking around with bright golden eyes. She immediately found Virgil's mental signal, in the docking bay place, where the boy himself was asleep in his mech, and started off at an extremely quick pace towards the docking bay thingie. Soon she was there, standing at the entrance. As she moved forward, she spotted the flitting golden form of Calenderi. Smiling, she approached the dragon.
"Hey Cali. I'm back. He's in there, right?"
She glanced over to the mech, then back at the dragon, grinning wickedly.
"Mind standing watch? Make sure those techs don't get anywhere near...I'm sure we'll need a while.."
Chuckling, she moved off and phased through the side of the mech, soon finding herself in the cramped interior...and face-to-face with the object of her desire, love and..the father of her child. She reached out gently, letting her slender fingers run down the side of his cheek.
"You always look so much younger than you really are when you sleep.."
Her voice was soft, only loud enough to break through the barriers of his dreams, not nescessarily wake him, but when she flung her arms about his neck, legs curled under her, perched on his lap...well that was sure to wake him. She buried her face in his neck murmuring, "I missed you so.."
