BBC radio has been available for years in Europe, it used to be on the Astra 1 satellites. They never used to have a problem with copyright and overspill. Infact Radio 1 was available here in Copenhagen on Cable for years!
The real problem is, that Mr.Dyke has no idea what he has done, depriving millions of Europeans of great English language radio. On the TV side, instead of restricting the signal (to the few thousand Ex-pats with Sky), he has now opened the channels up to millions, and probably deprived BBC Prime of many future subscribers.
