Why don't the BBC open up the Eutelsat feed again as a first goodwill gesture? At least that would give us Radios 1-4 at a reasonable quality without any arguments about what will swap between Astra 2B and 2D. I agree though that it is a lack of will rather than an underlying technical problem.

Even on the BBCi transponders that are on 2B there is seldom anything being broadcast - all of them have more than one audio channel so there is plenty of room.
