I totally agree with everything you said! Lane really was the emotional center of the show. Mason ALWAYS fascinated me when Lane played him. Neither Terry or Gordon could hook you in the way that Lane did. Lane's Mason was much more complex and I loved him in all of his sardonic, self-torturing ways. Lane is #1!
