Subject: Tungsten T3 Frustration

Long story short - new Tungsten T3 - installed software (Win98), couldn't hot sync. Looked like USB connection was OK because the computer recognized that I was starting a hot sync, but T3 got hung up and gave message that said that the connection was lost, and that I should check the setup. Three long calls to Palm where they basically told me the same thing each time (reinstall software, hard reset on the handheld - get rid of any old palm software) and each time it didn't work. Returned T3 and got new one. Same thing.
Thoughts? I'd be very grateful.
