Why should death mean the suspension of the truth? When Arthur Godfrey died in 1983, Andy Rooney, who once wrote for Godfrey, was asked by CBS for his reaction. Rooney said, "Well, Arthur Godrey was not a very nice person." He went on to discuss that while Godfrey cultivated a public image of being a nice guy, he tormented and humiliated those who worked for him. His sudden, on-air firing of singer Julius LaRosa was a prime example. So, what's wrong with telling the truth that Doug could be difficult to work with?
