Subject: Locally produced TV shows

Someone mentioned "Big Sky Cafe" in another thread. I didn't want to hijack that thread, so I started this one. Were there any locally produced shows on commercial stations that weren't really, really lame? I'm not talking news, but entertainment shows. Aside from Studio Wrestling, I really can't think of anything. WQED had some good ones, but that doesn't really count since they were "educational" in those pre-PBS days when they referred to themselves as part of "National Educational Television".

The shows with a host doing quick little bits between canned or syndicated material weren't too bad. But even Chiller Theater only had about 5 minutes of local content between breaks of a movie.

Were there good shows I'm just not remembering?
