Subject: Somewhat off topic - Irwin Prairie

I appologize for this being a bit off topic, but I'm so bugged about this, I felt compelled to post.

Has anyone else noticed the very questionable activity at Irwin, mainly on weekdays...and if so, has anyone attempted to report it??

I try to take my 10 year old daughter on a walk this afternoon around 3:30, and she's frightened about the "scary men" wandering the path. At one point, one guy comes walking out of the woods, and sure enough about 15 seconds behind him, another guy emerges from the woods and steps onto the boardwalk. Then they wander back and forth.

I don't care about people's preferences, but when it affects my daughter and ruins a fall bird walk on a great afternoon, it really pisses me off. I've seen this before and kept quiet, but enough is enough.

If this bothers you, would you recommend a call to the DNR or the Sylvania Township police? Again, sorry for the off topic, but this should concern all who enjoy Irwin.

Brian
