The monetary incentives jointly approved by the courts, legislators and the NCAA are just too overwhelming to be ignored. Furthermore, it is unquestioned that the value of an Ivy League diploma has certainly diminished due to the foolish actions of certain of the students, faculty and administrators at all of the Ivy League schools, so taking a long-term view of the diploma's value is no longer helpful.
