3rd picture down on the left of the screen when Paul smiled, it almost seemed like he could see what her answer was in her eyes at that point. So that would explain the great look of dispair on the 4th picture down on the left when he thought she was saying 'no'. I think Meg is starting to learn how to live in the moment and not in fear.
