Subject: Charles Fredrick Hogden

My grandmothers brother was born to her mother Mary Hogden 1870-1921, no father on birth certificate. Charles was born Sydney 1890, & died as Charles Fredrick Child in Sydney 1963. Mary married Henry Child 1855-1912,in 1890. Charles was known as Bert He had a son born in 1920's named Herbie although this could have been nik name. I am sure Bert never married so don't know Herbies surname. Herbie married an English girl after the war. They sent my mother a wedding photo which I have.
Also think Henry was married before he married Mary, she was employed as his house keeper. Gai
