Subject: We're still out there!!!

We hope you and your humans are all fine! We weren't able to get here earlier, since Mum insisted on learning for her exams --- she even didn't have time to distribute sufficent cuddles among us!!! Now, however, she's all finished, and tiredness is no real excuse --- we just need to bite into her nose when she is about to flop down over the keyboard. :) She doesn't like us biting into her nose. Yesterday Cara hooked one of her claws into Mum's nose (by accident, she wanted to catch Mum's hair), and Mum didn't like that either. A bit fussy, our Mum ... sigh We hope we'll be able to be here more often in the future! Love and nose-kisses from us all! (from Mum, too :) )

I'd go for the top of the boiler in the kitchen during the day, when just the pilot light's on. It's a bit warm in the evening when the boilers firing up. I have had a new boyfriend (half Scot/half Irish born and raised in Redford, England) who is a widower with a 6 year old son. I spent Thanksgiving (Nov. 26-28) in New Jersey visiting them. Both father and son were wonderful to me. I can even forgive them for having an unmentionable pet...dog. Although I hated my low paying job from May to September at the answering service, the hotel where I work as an operator (training for front desk clerk) is like a family. When I woke up, Mum and Dad had come to get me again. I seem to be missing a few teeth. Does the tooth fairy come to cats? I've got to go back again next week for a check up. I was extremely brave.

He was 17, and had something wrong with his stomach, and he couldn't eat. He was a massive black cat, with 6 toes on each paw, so he looked like a shire cart horse. Granny is very upset.

Hi everyone. I'm having to dictate this from my cage as Mum says I'm not allowed out. It's not so bad in here most of the time, as the others don't hassle me, but I miss fresh air. Subject: Mia's been to the vet's - again!

Anyway, she's had her dressing taken off today. There are three metal pins sticking out of her leg. Yuck! The vet says that it's now easier for her leg to catch on things, which would be a bad thing, so she'll have to stay in her cage much more. She's not going to like that!

Subject: Mia's been even naughtier!
Author: Sassy [ Edit \| View ]	Date Posted: 11:59:18 06/26/02 Wed Yesterday morning while Mum was sorting out Mia's cage (doing the litter tray, sorting out Mia's breakfast) she had to let Mia out. When Mum went through to the kitchen she shut the living door so that Mia couldn't wander round the house. However, when she came back the living room was empty! Of course Mum was very confused and worried. The only place Mia could be was inside the settee or armchair. (Naughty cats - before my time - had clawed holes that a little cat - like me - can squeeze in.) Mum wasn't answering though and Mum was getting very stressed. Eventually Mum heard snoring so she knew that Mia was definitely there! Five hours later Mum went off to get her lunch and when she came back Mia was sitting in her bed in the cage looking very innocent. Mum shut the door quickly!

Subject: Mia's been naughty

However, today for a treat Mum let her sit on her lap for a cuddle. Suddenly naughty Mia jumped off her lap, ran out of the living room, along the hall, into the bedroom and hid under the bed. Even with her poorly leg she can run faster than Mum! Mum and Dad were both worried that she'd hurt her leg or get the metal bits stuck on something! Dad said that she was never allowed out of her cage ever again!
