Even though Toad wasn't quite finished with calming down his boiling cauldron just yet, he regained a bolt up-right pose at Doe's words. Was she crazy? Or just plain stark ravin' mad? Toad's eyes narrowed 'neath his shaggy hair as he faced her -- now retreating -- form. With a un-readable expression that somewhere between shocked, and well, more-shocked, Toad yelled after her, "You're crazy... What happens if he comes out, and follows you, huh?" He hadn't realized it yet, but he was walking after her for no apparent reason with his hands flung out at his sides -- as if demanding an answer. Almost at her side by now, he breathed out a few sentences rather stubbornly, "You're not walking... I don't even care, you're just not. I won't let you." Jamming his broad hands into his hoody's pockets, he mumbled something while gazing down at his mis-matched sneakers, "Come with me... just... do it, alright? Please."
