She'd halted that stride at his words, frowning a little bit before she looks up at him. That thoughtful little look was there, kind of changing her features from that petty bitchiness to a soft looking sweetie. She moistens her lips, looking down at her creatively painted toes, "He wouldn't really follow me, would he?" She hated the hands of the guy, they were as if they'd had a mind of their own - they'd probed with wonder as if discovering a woman's body for the first time. They had pinched and measured and all around scared the shit out of her. She swallows a little bit, eyes still on her toes, her hair falling from behind her ears. She sighs a little bit, shaking her her head slightly - still feeling completely guilty for him having to become Mr. Protecter of the night.
