Subject: Definite relief softened her features and she nearly squealed as she threw her arms around his neck for a quick but tight hug - uncaring that he was all hot and sweaty, she was just so thankful to see a familiar face. "Nik!" A bright smile - the first one since she had first found out she wouldn't be able to make it home - lit her features as she drew back, hands slipping down to his chest and then dropping to tuck back into the pockets of her pants as she ducked her head a little sheepishly. She was a bit of an impulse hugger and sometimes forgot that some people weren't really into it. "What are you doing here?"

  • He could be into hugging, he supposed, if that was what turned her crank. He grinned a little bit, reaching out to tug on a strand of her wayward, wind-whipped hair - her own smile was on the verge of inspirational, and lightened the heart immensely. "Well, I've been chasing my dog, actually." He held a hand up to shield his eyes as though he was looking for something in the dying remnants of dusk, and then shook his head. "He's got, like.. a five mile headstart on me though, so I doubt this is going to be very successful." He grinned again, breaking his sober face with the joke. "Nah, just prefer being out here as opposed to in the gym." (NT) -- Nik, 00:30:44 12/22/04 Wed
