Subject: eyes of a fallen angel.

cadee was mostly silent the whole way there, for a lack of words and willingness to communicate with a taxi driver. nor did she want a single taxi driver to know her life story. or get her in danger, or recognise salem. after all, he claimed to be a celebrity. and high in the fame world. which cadee knew nothing of, so she took his word for it. the cab came to a halt as close as it could to the beach. slender fingers moved to the door handle as she pulled it open, and emerged out of the sullen automobile, leaving the door open for salem. battered eyes looked around slowly as she eyed her surroundings, much like always. cadee watched the cab speed away after salem got out. she sighed softly and hurried to meet salems eyes. it was dark out. at least 11, she knew. she had learned to tell the time by her surroundings, and not by an electronic device most individuals unlike herself had. cadee heard the crashing of waves in the near distance. she hadnt heard that in quite some time. the beach was rather benumbed at this hour. not many people were out. just scattered individuals here and there, most up to no good. luckily, she wouldnt be catagorized there today. cadee lacked her addiction tonight, unlike any other night. it would hit her later, she knew. but with salem by her side, it gave her hope everything just might be okay.
