Liam's features brightened slightly at Tex's easy-going reply. It was actually hopeful, like she really didn't think he was the devil's kin -- or something. Almost like she didn't think of him as badly as he thought of himself. Rubbing one broad hand through his touseled hair, he grinned at her though he didn't mean to. "That's good... 'Cause I mean, what else better do I have to do on a Friday night then get kicked by a girl while camping?" Teasingly, he chuckled. His eyes were creased at the corners, as he smiled towards her, his eyes mesmirized by hers, to say the least. "Nah, I mean it... It'll be fun, y'know... attempting to protect someone." Nodding as if to prove to her that he actually believed fun may be a factor in their camping trip, he leaned slowly forward, his eyes now set on the dish sitting before her. In one quick grab, he made a reach for the banana-split dish, and tilted it towards his lips. Half-melted icecream poured into his mouth, and within a minute -- all of it was gone. Ice-cream dribbled down his chin, but he didn't notice it as he looked up at her, trying to see if his whole act had been impressive, or not. "All gone." Way'd it go Li; for stating the obvious!
