After a 5month away from home, I came back to houston, and found my bike battery is dead. I bought a new one and charged and ran for couple of days. I left in the garage for a week.

I have a 1993 gsx/katana 600. I'm having carb trouble. I cleaned out the carbs and they still leak. The float is a whole assembly (a plastic float attached to a plastic frame that raps around the float). There are no signs of the floats leaking and holding gas. How do you adjust the float? There are no tabs to bend on the float. What should I do?

can anyone please give me some advice. ive bought a 1989 gsxr 400 that was in bits now im at the stage of putting the carbs back on. from the carbs there is two fuel hoses that both go to the fuel tap there is also two vacumn hoses from the carbs where do they go to and the other hose that comes from the third intake tube i have going to the centre of the fuel tap is this correct. all advice would be greatly appreciated.

Im writing this to help others save money, im also looking for a copy of a workshop manual, can you help me? -------When the red light comes on, eg (F1) use these fault codes to find your problem. Im sure they will work ok on all gsxr range after year of 2000. To extract the codes from the computer system, there is a two pinned connector hanging out of the wiring harness, on the left hand rear of the bike, (say above the pillion foot peg under rear trim. Be sure not to confuse the other connector used by the Suzuki Workshop Mechanics, as this has four or five wires to the connector) After locating the one with only two wires at the back, use a split pin or paper clip to bridge the two wires togeather and turn the ignition to the ON position, but do not start it. You should now be able to read the code on the console. The fault codes are as follows,,

When I start the bike(gsxr1000) the red light and error code f1 comes on but if I switch off the motor and fire it up again its fine. This was intermittent over the winter but now happening every time but the bike runs great. I think it's a dodgy sensor on the injection but I'm only guessing. Any-one else had this problem? I own a 2000 gsxr 750 and recently got a battery for a gsxr600 and it has not been holding its charge once the bike is started i dont know if it is from a blown regulator/rectifier or if the battery is just to small to keep the charge because it is for a 600, can some1 help

just bought a 90 gsxr750. it has a vance and hines power pack ignition that i think is shot. the bike breaks up bad at 7000rpm. almost like something is clogged up or something. could the v&h ignitor be doing this? what else? i opened up the v&h unit and set all the rev limits off but bike runs the same. could it be the carbs? any help at all would be greatly appreciated.. thanks

I haven't seen this site before, so if my post does not fit the requirements for information you would normally see on this site, please accept my apologies.
My name is Brian Daugherty and I am the Operations Manager for In The Red Racing. ITR hosts track day events at several racetrack facilities in California.
I wanted to take this opportunity to invite any and all of the GSX-R enthuiasts that might be interested to check out one of our events. The next track day is scheduled for June 18 at Buttonwillow Raceway. The cost for this event is $100, but if you register before May 10th the price is only $85. iv just recently bought a gsxr400 & iv noticed while riding it normally il be shifting through the gears all the way up to 6th by the time i hit around 30mph and at around 50mph il be in 6th gear & the revs will b reading about 6000revs which to me seems that the revs are to high for a speed of 50mph the revs should be lower i think am i wrong? or hav i been sold a gsxr400 which has got a smaller engine in it?

I found this on a bulletin board and decided to try it. A little while
