  I have just installed a mototeck undertail on my 01 GSXR 1000, the problem I'm having is that the left signal light works perfect but the right flashes very fast and blows the rear bulb after a short time. Did I f--k up or am I missing something?

  I was told the bike was a 97 gsxr 600 that was ordered from japan in october of 96. He told me that any parts that i get should be for a 97 and it is the newer gsxr style. What is the difference and why would it have a 96 sticker on it still? also was there another type of gsxr 600 in 96/97 made for racing?

  I have a 1993 GSXR-600. I took off the turn signals and now my brake light doesnt work. It looks like it is on all the time. I connected the wires together from the turn signals to keep line continuity and if i hit the turn signals, the tail light and headlight would blink. Please help. Im not going to ride until it gets fixed. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  Anyone know of the adjustments for the headlamp height ofr the Suzi GSXR750? I was told that this was1 Meter from the Wall and 850 up however did that and I now shine the lights at the moon :-) I have adjusted them so they look right but if anyone knows the correct measurements I would be grateful.

  Hey guys hows it going, I am new to this board but am pretty used to using the TL board. Well I am currently the new owner of a 2001 Gixxer1k. I sold my TLR about 2 weeks ago so I hope I like the Gixxer as much as my TLR. Just some questions for you guys, since Im new to the Gixxer world. My bike is completly stock, I want to put an undertail exhaust on the bike in june, but until then I am looking at other accessories to spruce it up. Anyone got any suggestion on what to do. Does the pair valve have about the same affect as the TLR as well as the infamous TRE mod!! Well I figured this would be the first and only place to get advice on the Gixxer.

  After replacing the exhaust, the FI LED is lit up and the water temp flashes between temp and FI. I think I may have gotten a the fault code during the exhaust install. Anyone know how to clear the code. If it comes back, I'll know it's more serious. Bike runs great - Hoping I just need to reset the computer.

  I purchased a 1972 TS250 this summer with 61 original miles. My dilema is the bike is in mint as new condition except the inside of the gas tank which had gas stored in it for 30 years. There is about an inch of rust and laquer in it. I dont want to have it dipped and repainted. Im trying to keep it in its completely original state.   I just got a 93 katana 600.. its a nice bike, but this starting problem is driving me nuts.
  
  I have new gas, It wont even start on ether as of right now. it will sputter maybe once through the exhaust as i try to start it. I cleaned the carbs (as well as i knew how), and i put new plugs in. Just to be sure i had spark, i pulled each plug one at a time, and grounded it to the engine, and i saw spark on all 4 plugs.
  
  When i got the bike, the CDI box was filled with water, and the tach hasn't worked, the one time we did get it running.
  
  would a replacement cdi box take care of my problems?
  
  sorry, also one more problem.. the clutch is SUPER hard. i've tried to adjust it, and no matter where i put it, i can't push the bike while its in 1st gear with the clutch in, and the handle is always way too firm to actually use. any suggestions there?

  Hey there. I just bought my 2001 GSXR 1000(with 623 miles on it) and it has that engine noise too. It sounds like a loose valve or something, but it goes away after speeding up a bit. Can't hear it when you rev the motor in neutral though. Otherwise, what a bike!!! No shifting problems here though.

  sometimes when i start the bike, i must open the trottle a alot (almost full) before it can start. and when it started (in this way), i must hold it fully open. once i release the trottle, the bike dies. other times, the bike start perfectly the normal way. because the problem is on and off, the mechanics dunno wat's wrong and so cannot pin point anything. anyone have this problem before?
  
  my carb have just been serviced, spark plugs just cjanged and sparking well, bleed the fuel tank to clear any possible debris. fuel lines seems clear since it is running smoothly most times. can't think of anything else...
  
  any suggestions? any help or comments will be greatly apperciated.

  I am restoring this bike but I can't get spark. I have power to the coil but apon cranking it's still as dead as the first president. I also noticed that when I turn the key on the tach jumps up to about 11k and varies while cranking. Is it the coils or the cdi, and how do I test them. Any help would be highly appreciated.

  But the leds watts effect is so low that the flasher relay cant registre when I turn the flasher on..It just lights up constantly;-(

  Hi there! I wonder if anyone can help me. I have a Gsxr400 import on a 91' GK76. It has had a new CDI and the carbs are spotless, however it still refuses to start. It has never ran since getting it from the importer.I was hoping someone could tell me if they have experienced simillar problems and tell me the firing order etc... A spark is there but no fuel seems to be getting drawn through. Any help appreciated cheers.

• Fuel Injection warning -- Matt, 23:46:07 01/31/03 Fri
  Installed a full Yoshi pipe. After doing so FI warning light and code showing. Hooked up the power commander II with preloaded map, still nothing. Bike runs great. Appreatiate any help.
